Help Ionut like you'd help yourselves!

In the picture below there is Ionut at the age of 27, several months ago.

... He was healthy and had everything he wanted. Young, lively and full of hope.

In the next picture there is Ionut, still at 27 years old, only that now he is sick and scared. He's in the hospital because he was diagnostified with a very serious illness, lymphatic cancer.

About the cancer case. His name is Popescu Radu Ionut and he's 27 years old. From the operation, which took away 2 ganglions, resulted that he has Hodgkin cancer. He followed a treatment with chemotherapy for 6 moths but didn't work, the disease evolved from stage 2 to 3. Now he needs to go in a clinic from abroad for proper treatement. Below is the letter from the clinic.

(Dear Mrs. Popescu,

Thank you for sending me your medical data. In fact it was possible to get a quite good impression of your medical history.

You are absolutely right that a thorough consideration of the actual situation is necessary to decide about the further treatment trying to keep a curative intention.

If you consider to come to Cologne it would be very good if you could bring both tumor specisms (the initial and the actual one) and the CT scans on CD. If a relapse/progression of the Hodgkin’s lymphoma would be confirmed it has to be decided about the need for a high dose therapy with autologous stem cell transplantation as the BEACOPP scheme alone would not be sufficient in this situation.

At this hour Ionut is in hospital in chemotheraphy, because what looked to be an easy infection tourned into a Hodgkin limphoma.

It's very hard to be in his shoes at his age, he is practicaly a child - Lady Popescu Ioana's child, so I ask you and his mother and Ionut are asking you badly to help like you do it for your child.

I've promised him that I will help him, I still need your help, alone I can't do as much as I wish to do.

In such situations we need eachother that's why I'm asking you to help and don't stay indifferent.

Now after transplant, Ionut is in remission but he still needs our help because very expensive investigations are necessary in this stage to keep his good parameters and as you very well know, a young biologist as Ionut, who is working in IT in fact, has no chances to be well paid in Romania and to have financial support for such expensive costs or treatments, so please help me to help him further to stay alive and to recover himself well enough to begin new life. 

Ionut needs 3000 - 5000 euro at every at least 3 month for tests, flight tickets, hotel, treatment, meals. 

I still want to mention that until a couple of months ago I haven't met Ionut in person, I only knew him from pictures. Cristina saw me one day on the street and they came together. That's when Ionut wouldn't stop thanking me for my help. You can't imagine how happy I felt when I got home!

For a short period of time I was content and forget to help him. Now I've realized that Ionut still needs our help.
